Anne Clarkin – Director and Younger Class Teacher

Anne has a B.A. in Women’s Studies and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has served the community for many years as an employee of the Falmouth Public Library, and a teacher in the Falmouth Jewish Congregation’s religious school. Anne has been the younger class teacher since 2009 and has a long association with the school as a parent, Board member, and substitute teacher. Her classroom aquariums and worm bins fascinate the children, and are just some of the ways Anne’s love of nature is woven into the daily life of the Child Center.

Darryl duRivage – Older Class Teacher

Darryl has been the older class teacher at the Child Center since 1994. She earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Columbia University, has worked internationally both in the non-profit and service industry, has run a home day-care business, and is also a librarian at the Falmouth Public Library. Darryl’s passion for cooking, reading and the outdoors greatly enrich the curriculum. She enjoys applying her creativity and inventiveness to planning the weekly themes. For the children, her imaginative art projects and made-up songs are an unforgettable part of their Child Center experience.

Jesse Foureman – Lunch Bunch Aide

2017-12 026Jessica became a part of the WHCC community when her daughter joined us after relocating to Woods Hole for her husband’s job. Jessica is originally from Ohio and attended Kent State University for a BBA in Management then State College of Florida, minoring in Communications. Jessica was part of a traveling tennis team and managed schedules and events. Deciding she want less travel, she then became a tour guide for Dry Tortugas National Park for several years. Later, opened a skate and paddle board shop in the Historic Seaport of Key West. Jessica also started a handbag and jewelry line which, after moving to Cape Cod, she still designs and makes. When she’s not here, you’ll find her volunteering her time at Mullen Hall Elementary and local artisan shows. It’s been Jessica’s pleasure to join us once again!
